AXA Advisors has appointed John Parham, a 23-year industry veteran, as senior vice president of the company’s national division in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Parham joined AXA Advisors in 1988. Most recently he spent six years leading the AXA branch in Nashville, Tennessee. Parham is also the founder of Legacy Wealth Strategies, a US-based company that aims to custom design wealth management strategies for its clients.

In related developments, AXA Equitable Life Insurance appointed three new senior vice presidents: Mary Bates, Nicholas Liolis and John Rivett, late last year.
